Sunstone was founded in 1997 by Jo Anne Myers and is based on the principle "I don't care what you know until I know that you care." We care because we work with a precious resource--people.
Many of our clients are company owners or leaders. They seek to align their business goals with the skills of people who work from their strengths.
Sunstone also works with individuals, couples, and families who want to understand themselves more fully, and communicate more effectively.
Jo Anne Myers

Jo Anne is a consultant to business leaders, an executive coach, speaker, and author. Her insight regarding people, and her dynamic coaching and presentation style have helped countless businesses improve internal communications and bridge gaps between both individuals and teams.
She is the owner of Sunstone International LLC and serves as the Behavioral and Communication Specialist for a variety of companies, where she guides business leaders to hire the right people, bring out the best in their teams and expand cooperation in the workplace.
With over 30 years of business experience, including the role of Executive Director/Chief Operating Officer of a national health care organization, Jo Anne has consulted for Fortune 500 companies, worked as a therapist in private practice and taught MBA-level classes for many years. Jo Anne conducts communication and leadership workshops, and works closely with a variety of industries, including healthcare organizations and technology and telecommunication solution providers.
She has earned degrees from Johns Hopkins University (Bachelor of Arts), Thunderbird School of Global Management (MBA) and Washington University in St. Louis (Master of Social Work).
